Why You Must Stay On Course

by Marquez Comelab

I believe that all of us want to express something: an idea, a theory, an opinion or a statement. I also believe that the majority of human beings would love to be creative in the expression of these ideas, theories and statements. Creativity permeates in everything our mind does and is challenged to do. I am certain that if given the chance, most or all of us would love a career in the creative and entertainment industry because it is there where we can express ourselves in the most creative of ways.

New Year's Resolutions: Turn Complaints Into Action Steps, Failures Into Money

by Jeremy Hoover

On a marketing forum I like to read there has recently been some complaining about a certain affiliate program. The complaining originates out of sincerity and genuineness: good folks are frustrated that they are struggling to make money. Yet, because of this frustration, they are complaining about the owner of the affiliate program and their perceived problems with his administration and/or the program itself.

How To Be A Superstar Business Performer

by Tino Buntic

If you could be 0.1% better than you were yesterday do you think people would notice? Would your boss congratulate you on a job well done? Would you get a raise? Would your company offer you new perks for being such a great performer?

You’re probably thinking that 0.1% is such an infinitesimal number that it is too small to make a difference. But, think about this: Do you remember the gold medal winner in the 2004 Athens Olympic Games? You probably do; a lot of people do. It was Justin Gatlin of the Untied States that finished in a time of 9.85 seconds. Do you remember who won the silver medal? Probably not. Not many people remember the second place finisher. The first place finisher is the real winner and people remember winners. But think about this, the silver medal winner was Francis Obikwelu of Portugal that finished in a time of 9.86 seconds. Guess what? That’s a difference of 0.01 seconds between first place and second place. Justin Gatlin was 0.1% better than Francis Obikwelu. 0.1% made all the difference in the world to Justin and he is a winner.

Life Is Wonderful

by Ineke Van Lint

It is so simple and so easy to get what we want that we have a hard time to believe it. We are programmed to do things the hard and difficult way, in order to get what we want. We can not believe that we can get anything without hard labour, sweat and tears, obstacles
and misery.

This is nothing else but a tough old programmation, a conditioning from our childhood. If you are like me, you were bombarded as a child with expressions from adults about how hard life is and how we have to struggle to get something. We were submitted to a hazardous universe or a God of revenge who could pick us out without any reason to take revenge on us for something we did wrong. We needed to avoid being bad or wrong, but disease could strike us anyway. Sometimes they even said : “It’s again a good one who’s punished, and the bad one take off easily like usual without paying anything!”. We learned that life wasn’t fair. We lived in fear and thought life was a valley of tears, fear, struggle, pain, disease
and death?

Persistence is the Key of Gaining Your Plan

by Mathew Greem

We all have some aspirations in life which we want to accomplish. Most often this seems so impossible and even when we think about it, we already give up. The American psychologists discovered that willpower can be practiced the same way as the body. They say that in the right hemisphere of the brain there is a center called accumbens which has an impact on the will controlling. These answers will give you some practical ideas how to start training your willpower.

Conformity Can Ruin Your Dreams

by Daegan Smith

We hope for things to be different, to be better. We hope to acquire new things and reach new heights. This desire for one’s betterment and success is basic to all.

Why is it though that as we age, as we mature, things tend to slow down? We stop dreaming, we begin to settle into mediocrity. For those in hardships, the drive to change one’s destiny is sometimes lost, and some people just start accepting ‘fate’.

What's Your Excuse for Not Being Successful in Life?

by David Neese

Excuses! Excuses! When we fail to do something we are expected to do, we almost always have an excuse for it. However, if we analyze it closely, an excuse is a self-destructive alibi for having failed to do something, especially when it involves attaining a goal. Instead of trying to persevere in finding ways to continue achieving a goal, some of us resort to excuses.

Even a handicap cannot be used as an excuse. Many handicapped but determined people have become achievers and champions. Instead of using a handicap as an excuse, let us turn it into an asset. Let us explore this further.

9 Keys to Business Success

by L. John Mason

1. Time management: What is Important….???

Urgent vs Important

List all of your daily tasks. Label them as:

U for Urgent: They must be done very soon

N-U for Non-urgent: No pressing time problem, these may be long term situations

And also:

I for Important: They will make a difference one year from now

N-I for Non-Important: Not significant to long term goals and success

Self Esteem and Self Confidence - The Keys in your Pursuit of Happiness and your Goals

by Evert Farnell

I can't believe it. I was watching the news this morning and they had a segment on food allergies. They suggested making little card that you could give to waiters or waitresses that outline your food allergy because it is embarrassing to talk about it. WHAT! Why in the hel would it be embarrassing to talk about a food allergy?

The only reason is because the person with the allergy has no self-confidence or is just a wimp. I could not believe it. If you have a food allergy then it would seem that talking to a waiter, who is bringing you your food, would be a reasonable thing.

2 Super Techniques That Will Improve Your Life

by Lambert Klein

How would you like to learn two simple techniques that can vastly improve your life?

If I told you that it is possible to significantly relieve yourself of anxiety, worry and stress as well as bad habits in a very short time, would you take the time to learn these two simple procedures?

You may be more interested if I told you it had help me personally and I have witnessed the proof. I was taking 5 blood pressure pills daily. Anxiety and stress were an everyday battle. There seemed to be no hope.

Well now I take only one BP pill daily. I am feeling so much better physically, mentally and emotionally. I have been utilizing these two tools about 7 months now.

The first technique that I studied after doing much research is called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). All the relevant information you need to understand EFT is free. There are some improvement eBooks that you can purchase if you desire but this is not required.
